Having commenced in the academic year 2000-2001, this permanent endowment annually supports certain educational activities of qualified sophomore and junior students in the Geosciences.

The Fellowship's purpose is to foster initiatives by individuals that typify Lauren's resourcefulness and enthusiasm in finding uncommon opportunities to learn and do research in diverse places outside of the local Williamstown area.

We express our deep appreciation to all those who have contributed to this fund. By encouraging these qualities, we feel that Lauren's spirit can live on to make a difference for people.
